'CALL FOR ENTRY' EXHIBITIONS, 2024
We are excited to share our 'Call for Entry' platform with CaFÉ.org. These calls are known as local, national, and international juried art competitions. In order to apply for our next year's shows on the subjects of: Trees/ Wings/ Wild Pink and Water we request interested artists to set up an account with CaFÉ for FREE. Upload a few recent works from your art portfolio. Once you have an account you will be sent all kinds of 'calls' or opportunities.
Art calls are opportunities for you to get your work visible at the state/national/international level. We encourage you to create an annual art exhibition budget for calls as one way to advance your professional art career for the potential to obtain awards and gather press on your work.
Artist calls are $30 to enter. Artists have the opportunity to win first, second and third prizes.

WILD PINK is a show about the natural and cultural evolution of the ancient color PINK. There is certainly no dearth of pink in the natural world or in human culture. We accessorize, cosmeticize, gender-ize and interiorize to the point of being 'tickled pink'. In the animal and floral world pink as hue and shade exists multifold. Whether to shock, protest or code the millennials, pink has survived the test of time. Share your work that examines the fluid origins and history of PINK in 'natural' and/or 'cultural' contexts. This is open media, interdiscplinary, multimedia, installation, all contemporary crafts and design arts in two/three dimensions for the wall and floor. All submissions must pertain to the color PINK.
Juried choices will be selected by July 30th and will be eligible for the onsite exhibition at Mad River Valley Arts 09/05/2024- 10/31/2024. Art work must be made within the last 3 years.
ELEMENTAL is a show about water and its impact in our daily lives. It goes without saying water is a significant player in the lives of humans and all other species. Water cycles through our ecosystems via the atmosphere, soil, rivers, lakes, and oceans in order to sustain life on this planet. We are vulnerable to its forces in complex ways. While water can destroy our built environment if climate 'changes' reach peak levels, water can also be one of our elixir's in life, offering wisdom and endless inspiration.
This call is for open media, interdisciplinary, multimedia, installation, all contemporary crafts and design arts in two/three dimensions for the wall and floor. All submissions must pertain to the subject of water.
Juried choices will be selected October 1st and will be eligible for the onsite exhibition at Mad River Valley Arts: 11/07/2024- 01/05/2025. Enter your artwork during the month of July. Art work must be made within the last 3 years.
